Dr. Soliman is Board Certified by both the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American Board of Surgery. He attended the University of Florida and was a part of the Junior Honors Medical Program, graduating with his Bachelors and Medical Degrees by the age of 23 as magna cum laude. He did his surgical residency at Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama and completed his fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando.

Dr. Soliman has many leadership roles both locally and nationally. Within the Central Florida Division of AdventHealth (which includes 7 hospitals), he is the System Chairman of Colorectal Surgery. Also, Dr. Soliman is the Program Director of the Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgical Fellowship, Associate Program Director of the Colon and Rectal Surgical Residency at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando, and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida. Additionally, he serves on the National Corporate Robotics Steering for AdventHealth and the OrlandoHealth regional Robotics Steering Committee.

On a national level, Dr. Soliman developed the standardized training curriculum used by the Association of Program Directors of Colon and Rectal Surgery (APDCRS) and is lead faculty in training courses for robotic certification of colorectal surgical residents.

Dr. Soliman specializes in advanced robotic colorectal surgery for benign and malignant disease, and evolving techniques in transanal minimally invasive surgery for sphincter preservation.

In his spare time, Dr. Soliman enjoys life with his wife and two children, is an avid photographer, and is very active in his church.
